MAIN 2019 GOALS and KEY ACTIONS Help improving the races and the competition system Provided input to the Technical Committee on competition rules revision Gave feedback on the 2020 – 2024 competition structure Provided feedback and suggested proposals alongside the paratriathlon coaches working group Assist the ITU Sport Department / LOCs improve event operations Compiled and shared post-race reports for all WTS and MRS events Provided feedback on Tokyo Olympic test event

MAIN 2019 GOALS and KEY ACTIONS Implement rules and event operations to improve athletes safety Worked with the Athletes Committee and the Sport Department on Water quality issues 2 members appointed to the “Exertional heat Illness working group” Collected countermeasure proposals and made recommendations Understand the sport demand and share data Assigned coaches and sport scientists to measure courses and helped analyse athlete’s velocity /pacing

MAIN TARGETS FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON Work with the ITU Sport Dep on the 2020 – 2024 competition structure, Olympic events and race format priorities Follow up with the Water Quality issues and Heat Prevention task forces for Tokyo OG & PG Involve more coaches outside the Committee to help cover all WTS / MR series and test events Improve the flow of information between the CC and HP departments of NFs

Understand the sport demand to better prepare the athletes and make races more safe, fair and competitive
