In my presentation I’m going to tell you about the common aquatic plants of Lake George.

HYDRILLA

Hydrilla is the most common aquatic plant in Lake George Hydrilla is the most common aquatic plant in Lake George. Hydrilla takes up 92% of Lake George.

HYACINTH

Hyacinth is a beautiful water plant and the biggest aquatic pest Hyacinth is a beautiful water plant and the biggest aquatic pest. They clog water ways and make them impenetrable.

EEL GRASS

Eel grass is often mistaken for seaweed, but it is actually a flowering plant. It produces food for many species on the low end of the food chain. It is a good indicator for water quality.
