Changes in Labor Needs Machines replaced workers on farm which caused a decrease in need for farm workers and rural areas Factories lead to an increase in the need for urban workers Simple jobs on assembly line lead to an increase in unskilled labor and decrease in skilled labor

Other Changes Family size goes down – no longer need a lot of workers in farms and can’t afford a large family Growth of a new class system Upper Middle Lower Haves v Have Nots I can buy it and you can’t
