Congestion and air quality Mass transit for densely populated areas and corridors electric traction; steel wheels on rail (rubber → particulates) heavy rail for longer distances light rail for shorter journeys and feeder services Individual transport for sparsely populated areas Need good connection between the two transport hubs less car parking but still need stabling for shared vehicles integration of services from different transport providers

Improved public transport Better use of digital media status information, especially during disruption create a “community” of transport users As convenient as owning a car contactless payment how to accommodate all the things we keep in the car / van? Inclusivity not just step-free access; mitigate effects of crowds etc
