ST 15 -SaV Ceramics Sabrina Vasulka & Nahuel Hernando Design Studio with a contemporary approach to ceramics, mixing traditional craft techniques with new technologies. We design, develop and manufacture a range of products between tableware and lighting. The pieces look beautiful. Thanks again for the extra attention to detail. The be inspired project We applied because we needed support to set up our business. During the programme we were able to improve the marketing and financial sides, besides purchasing some equipment. The best part of the scheme was to meet other entrepreneurs and the speakers talks, realizing that we all get through similar issues at the beginning. Now we have a better idea of how to run a business, keeping in mind more than the creative side of it. We could set up our studio, develop new Collections, understand better our target customer which helped us to market our pieces. What advice would you give graduates considering applying for be inspired? Go for it! It really helps and offers support to start-ups. We learnt about time managing, leadership, prioritizing tasks and how to work as a team. With the support of the mentoring sessions, the business club talks and by doing we definitely feel more confident now to approach with customers, suppliers and how to deal with risk taking. The Future Our idea is to expand our studio, launch new collections and have more stockists selling our pieces internationally in cities like London, Milan, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, besides direct selling through our website. After the scheme we will continue to produce and market our preexisting and new pieces. Summarizing, the skills learnt are related with confidence, project managing and business thinking.
