WT mice were tested for whether the retraining in context A could strengthen the memory. For this experiment, animals were subjected to one-shock mild training so that the induced freezing level at the time prior to retraining (30.23% ± 3.94%) was comparable (p > 0.9999, Bonferroni multiple comparison test) to that of Tg animals elicited by three-shock training (24.44% ± 7.86%).
