Teacher Biography Welcome to Algebra 1 for the 2019-2020 school year! I am excited to be your teacher for this year! I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Central Florida. I also have my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida International University. Lastly, I have my Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Barry University. This is my 10th year of teaching and my 5th year here at Somerset Silver Palms. I have taught all levels of math to both middle and high school students over the years. I am also the National Honor Society Sponsor.

Home learning Homework is only accepted the day that it is due. For students who are absent, assignments must be completed within 24 hours (X per missed days) after returning to school.

EOC Testing Algebra 1 EOC is 30% of final Grade Testing in May Students must retake the test over the summer if they receive a Level 1 or Level 2. Must have a passing score to graduate high school

Volunteer Policy Per contract, parents must complete 30 volunteer hours per school year. Each additional sibling is responsible for 15 hours. Donated items may be submitted to the office or class teacher with a receipt.
