Demonstration of POM Flowline Optimizer

POM Flowline Optimizer Find the optimal buffer configuration of a flow line in 5 steps Select options (10 seconds) Define system layout (30 seconds) Edit system data (120 seconds) Compute key performance indicators (0.01 seconds) Find optimum buffer configuration (0.2 seconds) Perform sensitivity analysis (rerun steps 2 to 6)

Step 1: Select options

Step 2: Define system layout

Step 3: Edit station data and target throughput

Step 4: Compute performance indicators

Step 5: Compute optimum buffer configuration New throughput

Step 6: Sensitivity analysis If the number of buffers required is not acceptable, consider the following changes of the system data: Modify the availability of a station Reduce the cycle time of one or multiple stations etc. Each of these options can be evaluated with POM Flowline Optimizer on-the-fly.
