Required Reading Skills Association is the mental link between visual marks such as letters and written words, and the speech sounds they represent as well as the meanings which speech sounds sequences signify.

Required Reading Skills Interpretation is the ability to construe, process, deduce meaning from word clusters, word patterns or collocations, and arrangements.
