IS THAT TRUE? Most people believe those of different faiths will be saved! What did Jesus and His apostles say about the path to salvation, the way to eternal life?

THERE IS ONLY ONE PATH TO SALVATION ACCORDING TO JESUS- He said the way to life was difficult & narrow, found by few – Matthew 7:13,14 He taught that unless we believe in Him, we will die in our sins – John 8:24 He claimed to be the only way to the Father – John 14:6

THERE IS ONLY ONE PATH TO SALVATION ACCORDING TO HIS APOSTLES- Peter said salvation found only in His name- Acts 4:12 John said whoever denies the Son does not have the Father – 1 John 2:23 Paul said those who don’t obey the gospel will experience Jesus vengeance – 2 Thessalonians 1:7,8

“THERE ARE MANY PATHS TO SALVATION” IF SO, CONSIDER WHO LIED… JESUS lied – John 14:6 HIS APOSTLES lied – Acts 4:12 IF SO, CONSIDER WHO SUFFERED & DIED IN VAIN… Jesus’ death not necessary! Why die for our sins if there are other ways to salvation?

“THERE ARE MANY PATHS TO SALVATION” His apostles’ deaths were not necessary! Why did Paul put up with hardships? 2 Corinthians 11:23-29 Why did the apostles endure martyrdom if it was not necessary? IF there are many paths to salvation, then Jesus & His apostles died in vain!

THE PATH TO SALVATION We must Hear the Good News –Romans 10:17 Acts 10:42,43 -Have you heard the gospel? We must Believe (Trust) in Jesus – John 3:16 1 John 4:9,10; Ephesians 1:7 -Do you trust in Jesus & His death for your salvation? We must Repent – Acts 17:30,31 Acts 26:18

THE PATH TO SALVATION We must Confess Jesus as Lord – Matthew 10:32,33 Romans 10:9,10 – Have you acknowledged Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God? We must be Baptized into Christ – Mark 16:15,16 Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-7 - Have you been baptized into Christ for the remission of sins?

THE PATH TO SALVATION We must Remain Faithful to Jesus – Matthew 28:19,20 To imitate Him as our Mentor – Luke 6:40 To remain faithful even to the point of death – Revelation 2:10 Have you made Jesus your Teacher & Mentor, as well as your Savior?

Believing There Are Many Paths To Salvation is… A Comforting doctrine to hold Viewed by many as tolerant & loving BUT if one really believes in Jesus, they must abide in His teaching – John 8:30-32

We Must Remember That: Few will be saved Jesus the only was to the Father We must obey His gospel plan of salvation We must follow Him the rest of our life.
