1. Preparation Initial contact with statistical domain Presentation of the Quality Assurance Framework and quality tools (reporting standards) Identify specific legal requirements Evaluate the current state of play: current collection, scope, deadlines Consultation with Member States
2. Compliance Analyse the current collection Identify domain specific requirements Identify the best structure (ESMS/ESQRS) Mapping of the current collection to the standard Validation in the WG
3. Implementation Creation of the SDMX artefacts Setting up Metadata Handler (MH) Create a test file Run a pilot with volunteered countries Setting up the exchange channel for MSs that are using their own Metadata Systems Import of the previous collection in MH Set up trainings (for using MH)
4. Production Users are able to create and send the metadata files using the standard and the tool Domain managers can receive the files, analyse and validate them The information can be extracted for further processing (aggregated quality report) If agreed the files can also be disseminated on Eurostat website.
