BTEC L3 National Diploma This is a double option course leading to a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Health and Social Care It is equivalent to TWO A Levels and is studied over 2 years. Grades range from PP to D*D* depending on the grades you get for each unit. There are 8 units in total. 3 exams. 5 coursework units.

Learners explore the methodologies of contemporary research and investigate the implications for health and social care practice and services. 7.Principles of Safe Practice in HSC – CWK Assignment. Learners explore the importance of safe working practices, safeguarding procedures and responding to emergency situations in health and social care settings. 8.Promoting Public Health – CWK Assignment. Learners explore the aims of public health policy and the current approaches to promoting and protecting health and encouraging behaviour change in the population. 19.Nutritional Health – CWK Assignment. Learners explore concepts of nutritional health and influences on dietary intake, and learn how to assess and improve health through nutrition plans for individuals.
