August 8 Today’s Agenda: Bell work Portrait of Scientist Materials: -Pencil -science notebook -science folder Daily Objective: Today we will continue our discussion about Science. Daily Question: Is this picture science? What is it? Write on the right side of your notebook. Follow the format from yesterday.

What is it? This is a scanning electron micrograph of sweat on a human index finger tip. The ridges are what form our finger prints. Technically it is a replica made from the tip of an index finger. The replica is then placed inside a scanning electron microscope. (Photo by Jim Swafford)
