Making a Difference in Africa

Design Challenge Problem: A village needs a reliable method for safely cooking food and boiling water. Background: The village is poor and remote, located in an arid region. A recent earthquake has left the village with no power and the only transportation is by foot. Water is available from a nearby well, but contains unsafe chemicals and bacteria. Food is available through hunting and minimal farming.
