Vocabulary Lesson 7-7 Guess the meanings of the italicized stems by looking at the word in context. 1. The woman was vindictive toward her ex-husband; she wouldn’t let him see their children on a regular basis. 2. The gregarious young boy was always talking to his friends during class. 3. We are drawing and graphing quadrilaterals in math class. 4. Because the young man appreciates discipline and loves the water, he is expected to join the navy. 5. Even though the young girl was used to performing with a group, she did really well in her solo performance.
