Focus on future sharing opportunities Built in 2013-15 On UNECE wiki platform Built in 2015 Focus on future sharing opportunities Built in 2015 Focus on existing sharing opportunities Several Options (e.g. Github)

Investment Catalogue We need to share investment plans where we are willing to collaborate Strategic investment planning Sharing plans between organisations Finding partners with similar priorities Trialing an Investment Comparison Tool

Investment Catalogue What are we investing in? Results from 2015 survey

Standards and Frameworks Capability Catalogue A capability allows an organization to do many activities People Methods Standards and Frameworks Processes Technology

Capability Catalogue Activity/process/capability Activity is what we do Process is how we do it Capability it the combination of factors that allow to do it

Capability Catalogue Why capabilities? GSBPM doesn’t help us identify where a single investment can affect multiple production processes Developing new systems based on GSBPM could lead to duplication of functionality in business processes There is a many to many relationship between capabilities and activities. The more a capability is reused by different activities the more money we save

Capability Catalogue Sharing of any dimension of a capability can occur with different degrees of maturity

Service Catalogue Current version: Wiki page hosted by Eurostat/European Commission cumbersome to use and update wiki macros not maintained It can be accessed at: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/fpfis/wikis/pages/viewpage.a ction?spaceKey=CSPACatalog&title=CSPA+Service+Catalogue +Home+Page

Are we ready for CSPA?

Are we ready for CSPA? Are our organisations sufficiently mature? Maturity has several dimensions (Just like capabilities!) How can we measure maturity? The answer: We are working on a Modernisation Maturity Model

Modernisation Maturity Model “A Modernisation Maturity Model ... could provide a framework within which to assess the maturity of individual statistical organisations, but also the maturity of the global statistical community, from a modernisation perspective” Source - Modernisation: Evolution or Revolution? By: Pádraig Dalton, John Dunne & Donal Kelly
