Active Component Enlistment Bonus (EB) and Enlistment Loan Repayment Purpose Enlistment Incentives (EI) must attract the highest quality of recruits to fit specific requirements to ensure fleet readiness. This bonus message is for the Active Duty Component only. Applies to any future Sailors initially classified or reclassified on or after 25 July 2019. Important Terms EI = Enlisted Incentives EBSR = Enlisted Bonus Source Rate EBPST = Enlisted Bonus Physical Screening Test EBHS = Enlisted Bonus High School EBPFA = RTC Physical Fitness Assessment EBCC = Enlisted Bonus College Credit EBSHP = Enlisted Bonus for Shipping LRP = Enlisted Loan Repayment Program Classification EB eligibility determination is the most recent PRIDE classification transaction. This could be either the initial classification date or the reclassification date. Changes EBCC added to attract college applicants. EBSHP added to incentivize FY-19 shipping. LRP added for specific ratings. Ability to combine LRP and Enlisted Bonus.

Enlisted Bonus Source Rate (EBSR) All bonus’ are paid after successful completion of “A” or “C” school for the specified rate SPEC-OPS payment occurs after successful completion of training and after arrival at the first Permanent Duty Station (PDS) All bonus recipients must earn the rating NEC and have a security Clearance. EBSR can be combined with EBPST, EBHS, EBPFA, EBCC, EBSHP. Maximum Enlisted Bonus amount not to exceed $40K. NOTE: Applicant must meet all moral, mental, physical, and security clearance requirements to earn an EBSR. Not everyone will qualify.

Enlisted Bonus Physical Screening Test (EBPST) Applicable to members in the Warrior Challenge Program. Must achieve an elevated score on the RTC INITIAL PST in accordance with the EB Statement of Understanding (NAVCRUIT 1133/102). Member must remain in Warrior Challenge and graduate from RTC. Paid upon successful graduation from RTC. Can be combined with EBPFA, EBCC, EBHS, EBSHP, and EBSR. Maximum EB amount not to exceed $40K. Enlisted Bonus Physical Fitness Assessment (EBPFA) All Active Component Sailors are eligible. Must pass the baseline PFA (normally conducted on P-5 day of training) with a score of Satisfactory-Medium or better. Paid after successful graduation of RTC. Can be combined with EBSHP, EBPST, EBCC, EBHS and EBPFA. Maximum EB amount not to exceed $40K. RATE SHIP MONTHS FY AMOUNT ANY OCT-SEP $2,000

Enlisted Bonus for High School (EBHS) All Active Component recruits are eligible. Must initially classify (into DEP) as a high school (11S) senior during the period of 01JUL19 - 31OCT19. Must stay in school and successfully graduate by the end of the regular school year in 2020. Paid after successful graduation from RTC. Can be combined with EBSR, EBSHP, EBCC, EBPFA, AND EBPST. Maximum EB amount not to exceed $40K. RATE SHIP MONTHS FY AMOUNT ANY OCT-SEP 20 $3,000

Enlisted Bonus for College Credit (EBCC) All Active Component recruits in any rate/program with college credit from a post-secondary accredited institution are eligible. Paid and earned after graduation from RTC. Institution must be listed in the Database of Accredited Post-Secondary institutions. https://ope.ed.gov/dapip/#/home If not listed in the database, NAVCRUIT 1133/51 (EDVER) must be used to verify its accreditation. All future Sailors with foreign education must have an approved NAVCRUIT 1133/51 (EDVER) to be eligible for EBCC. Paid after successful graduation from RTC. Can be combined with EBSR, EBSHP, EBPFA, EBHS, and EBPST. Maximum EB amount not to exceed $40K.

Enlisted Bonus for Shipping (EBSHP) All Active Component recruits in the below ratings that ship between July and September 2019 are eligible. Initial or reclassification must take place after 25JUL19. Paid after successful graduation from RTC. Can be combined with EBSR, EBPFA, and EBPST. Maximum bonus entitlement is $40K. Enlisted Loan Repayment Program (LRP) Active Component Enlisted Loan Repayment open to select rates. Must classify or reclassify after 25JUL19 to be eligible. All rating/programs except MU must ship by 31MAY20. Must be non-prior service. Must be classified as a High School Diploma Graduate (Tier 1). Must have at least a 50 AFQT. Eligible to combine any EB with an approved LRP. Maximum EB not to exceed $40K. Future Sailors can combine the maximum $40K bonus and up to $65K in LRP.

Example High school senior(11S) initially classifies during the period of 25JUL19-31OCT19 to CTI. EBSR RATE SHIP MONTH FY AMOUNT CTI SEP 20 $25,000 EBPFA RATE SHIP MONTH FY AMOUNT CTI SEP 20 $2,000 EBHS RATE SHIP MONTH FY AMOUNT CTI SEP 20 $3,000 COMBINED BONUS TOTAL EBSR/EBPFA/EBHS $30,000

Example 16K future Sailor classifies to EOD after 25JUL19. EBSR RATE SHIP MONTH FY AMOUNT EOD MAY 20 $36,000 EBCC RATE SHIP MONTH FY AMOUNT EOD MAY 20 $8,000 EBPST RATE SHIP MONTH FY AMOUNT EOD MAY 20 $2,000 EBSR Adjustment Total EB is $46K. In such cases, the EBSR will be automatically reduced by $36K. EBSR now $30K and EBCC for $10K for a total of $40K (Maximum Limit). COMBINED BONUS TOTAL EBSR/EBCC $40,000
