LINE, TEXTURE, SHAPE AND SPACE Line drawing LINE, TEXTURE, SHAPE AND SPACE
Create a composition in ink using your knowledge of line, texture, shape and space Draw three or more lines across your paper to divide it into spaces. Your lines can be straight or not. Try to make these spaces as a whole create a balanced feel. Inside of your spaces, use lines of varying thickness to create shapes and patterns and textures. Give each space a different feel. You may use a motif to create unity or repetition to create rhythm. Pay attention to the positive and negative spaces. Make your decisions purposefully in order to create an aesthetically pleasing composition.
