Adding Media to Courses Using Kaltura with Moodle

Publishing to the Kaltura Media Gallery Videos in My Media are private until you publish the videos to a course gallery. Use the check boxes to select media, click Actions, then Publish, and you will be prompted to select the course(s) in which to publish. Students can then access the media in the Kaltura Media Gallery of the course. 2 1 3

Adding a Kaltura Video Resource To place media in the topic/week of the course and add context with a description and other information, use the Kaltura Video Resource. Adding this link will not automatically add the media to the Kaltura Media Gallery of this course, but you can publish there also if you want it in both places. INSTRUCTIONS: Navigate to your Moodle course Turn Edit On Click Add an activity or resource Select Kaltura Video Resource Enter the title, select the media and adjust the settings accordingly  

Embedding a Video with the Editor You can embed a video anywhere you get the editor window by clicking on the Kaltura symbol in the editor toolbar. For example, your assignment description could be an audio file with the assignment specifications.
