Adding Pictures to a Power point From the Internet: Open up your Power point presentation. In the bottom left hand corner of your desktop, you will see a blue e—Internet Explorer. Click on it. You may type in the address from a website you’ve been at or return to metacrawler under search and find other sites for your pictures. Remember to give credit to the website!! Once you find a picture (and it is not protected or copyrighted) right click on the picture. In the pop up menu that appears, left click COPY. Toggle back to your powerpoint presentation by clicking on the orange icon on the bottom of your screen with the name of your presentation. Move to the slide you wish to put your picture in. Click Edit…Paste. Move and adapt the picture as needed. Be sure to add a border! From Powerpoint: Open up your powerpoint presentation. Move to the slide you wish to add clip art. Click on INSERT…PICTURE from CLIP ART. In the keyword box, type a simple one word subject. Enter. Click on the picture you wish and click on the first icon along side it to insert. Click on the X to close window. You will find your clip art on your powerpoint. Move and adapt as needed. From A File: Open your powerpoint presentation to the slide you wish to add your picture. Click on INSERT…Picture…From File. Click on MY DOCUMENTS folder on left. Click on your class and locate your picture in one of the folders. Doubleclick it to open up your picture. Edit…Copy. Close or Toggle to your Powerpoint. Edit…Paste. Move and adapt as needed.
