Pl Pl Learning Map for Year 1 : Autumn 2 2018 Santa’s Workshop PE Please encourage your child to read each day Can I collect data? Creating tally charts and simple graphs to record class responses. Can I design toys on the iPads? Draw toy designs using art packages on the iPads. Can I use ActivInspire to create Mondrian art? Link to art – use shapes and fill in tools to recreate Mondrian’s artwork. PE – football Learn passing and dribbling skills Play team games Can I write stories? Look at stories Understand the features of a story Use drama to create our own stories Create story boards and story books Pl Other Exciting Events: Our Nativity performance Theatre show Swimming - Monday Can I write instructions? Help our alien friend to understand how to do things, such as make a jam sandwich and get dressed, by writing instructions. Play games such as ‘Simon says’ and drawing through instructions.
