Do Now What is your definition of a hero Do Now What is your definition of a hero? What character traits do you think a hero would possess?

Heroes A true hero is a person who does something for another person and risks their own life or makes a big sacrifice while doing so. True heroes are selfless, and have the courage to do something for others in difficult situations.

What is an Everyday Hero? A person who unselfishly gives of their time or talents or something of value to help others. A person who uses their life to help and serve others.

Who are some everyday heroes in your community?
