Common and Proper Noun Common noun is any person,place, animal or thing. Proper noun is name of a particular person or place. Example- Jack loves to play in the park. Jack is a proper noun because its a particular name and park is a common noun because it can be any park. Proper nouns always start with a capital letter. e.g. My birthday party is on Friday.
