COMPOSITION

definition The meaning and composition is to organize the various parts of “ART” into a unique and presentable manner. Moreover to allow the artist to express himself consciously in a compact style.

The process of composing the elements/principles into one is not an easy process. It comes after the imaginative process ( Subjective process) ends and the creative process (Objective process) starts.

Good composition and good arrangements of principles involves selecting and inventing new thoughts that goes together harmoniously and finally analyzing the results.

In composition artist does everything consciously and deliberately. An artist always imagines unconsciously but he always paints consciously similarly like a writer. He also imagines the whole story but writes it down in a proper conscious manner.

For Composing something very creative all the elements and principles of art should walk hand in hand togetherly.

If an artist is representing two spots but of different sizes on one canvas, then this will be called as Repetition. So, Repetition in art or in composition is very important aspect. The other commonly principles are proportion, Rhythm, Repetition, Sequence, Transition, Radiation, Contrast, Balance and Emphasis. These functions is to bring or to create variety in unity.

Both Elements and Principles of composition or arrangements are no more then the devices to clarify the meanings of any painting (creation).

Harmony in any painting and composition can be achieved through rhythmical lines or can be through the radiation of forms. Their use should predict the creative ability of an artist.
