PARAGRAPH CONSTRUCTION Thursday, October 11

Swbat use two texts and construct paragraphs based on the Regents Task 26 and 27 DO NOW: Review p.46 FRIDAY: Bodega Dreams day!

“They Live the Dream” and “Lifelong Dreamer” Write a well-developed paragraph in which you use ideas from both “They Live the Dream” and “Lifelong Dreamer” to establish a controlling idea about achieving the American Dream. Develop your answer using specific examples and details from both passages.

Choose a specific literary element (theme, characterization, narration, setting) used by one of the authors. Use specific details from either “They Live the Dream,” or “Lifelong Dreamer,” in a well-developed paragraph, show how the author uses the element or technique to develop the passage.

EXIT SLIP After you finish both paragraphs, read them over and let me know what was HARD CONFUSING EASY about writing these two paragraphs.
