How to Use This Activity I used these page as an assessment to see if the student could put the days, months, and seasons in order, but you could also use them to practice these skills.

How to Use the Activity, continued. I cut out the bubbles and had my student glue them in order. They can go from top to bottom, or the opposite way. I had envisioned them starting at the top bubble, but one of my students wanted to start at the bottom. I imagine he was thinking that one should be first, as it was closest to the fish, but I’m not sure. Either way is fine.

How to Use the Activity, continued. If you’re using this as an assessment of sequencing days, months, and seasons, I would first do this activity with the numbers, just to show the student how to do these worksheets before you start the actual assessment. Assuming that the student can already sequence numbers easily, doing this “easy” activity helps them understand the instructions for the activity. This way, you’ll know that any errors are not due to a lack of understanding of what to do.

How to Use This Activity When you first look at this activity, you’ll notice that there’s no fish on the pages you print. I used one of my student’s drawings for this. To customize it for your student, you can pick a picture of an ocean animal from a free graphics website, such as Pixabay. You can also have the student draw a fish or ocean animal.
