How to Log Support (Interventions and Referrals) in MISIS San Pedro high school

1. Log into Misis using Firefox Internet Browser.

2. Click on the student’s name from the attendance screen.

3. Hover over the heading support.

4. Select the heading ‘Referrals’.

5. Click the [+] on the left side of the window to ‘Add New Referral’.

6. Enter the information about your referral. Required Fields have a red asterisk. (*)

7. If you would like a Dean to speak to the student about this incident, Check the ‘follow up Required’ button.

8. Click ‘save’ when you have completed your referral 8. Click ‘save’ when you have completed your referral. (You may have to scroll down to see the ‘save’ button.)

Phone calls home. For classroom disciplinary situations, please call the parent or guardian to let them know what happened in class. As the school staff member who observed the behavior or incident, you are able to explain the event in much greater detail and answer any questions the family member may have.
