 History is the study of past events. People know what happened in the past by looking at things from the past by using these sources. Book, Newspaper, tools, pottery and human or animal remains.

 Something that is created with imagination and skill and that is beautiful or that expresses important idea or feeling.

 Culture is the knowledge of a particular group of people, including language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts

Art history is the history of different groups of people and their culture represented throughout their artwork.

 It gives you exposure.  it’s a way critical evaluation of different artworks.  It promotes creativity.  Students can gather knowledge and inspiration.

 An era is a commonly used word for a long period of time.  What does B.C stands for?? It stands for Before Christ. It means the numbers of years before the birth of Christ.  What does A.D stands for??  Latin word: Anno Domini It stands for in the year of Lord.

An overview of Art before History Pre-Historic Age is divided into 3 stages. 1.Paleolithic 2.Mesolithic 3.Neolithic

 Greek word.  Paleos means old  Lithos means stone.  Paleolithic means old stone age.

 In Mesolithic age or middle stone age. Humans started using arrows for hunting of animals. Hunting of small animals like fish begin using sharp tools which are also known as microliths-pointed. This period lasted from 10,000 BC to 6,000 BC.
