Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal To access ESS: Navigate to www.county.org click the Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal link EES portal at: https://mybenefits.county.org
New Login Screen Log into ESS: Your email is your Username. For First Time Users, click “First Time User” to create an Account. (All users will need an email address to login). If an employee has logged in before, enter your email in the Username box and hit Next. Your email is your Username.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Login MFA enhanced security login: Enter your UID#. (located on your Blue Cross Medical card) Or, your SSN. UID is the unique identification 9-digit found at front of your ID card
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Login (cont’d) Confirming your identity: Enter date of birth. Enter date of hire. (If the date of hire is unknown, the exact month and year is acceptable).
Verification Code First Time Users need verification by email & phone: A verification code will be sent to the email you enter. Enter a phone number to receive a verification code by phone. Choose ‘Send Code’ for a text message verification code or ‘Call Me’ to get an automated phone call.

Accept the online authorization. Access is granted.
