Mission Our UF: ABA for A.B.A. We are the Association of Black Alumni (ABA), an affiliate group of the University of Florida. As UF strives to go greater, our vision is to be the premiere organization for UF Black Alumni. Our strategic initiative is Our UF: ABA for A.B.A. We will focus on membership, fundraising, and engagement. Add Black Alumni to our Membership, Bolster Fundraising, and Actively Engage our Black UF Community. The UF Association of Black Alumni is a relevant piece of UF’s tapestry. We take great pride in our rich history within the University of Florida and actively advocate for our alumni, our students, our Black UF community. . . Mission

Goals 6 Add Black Alumni to Membership (MEMBERSHIP) In July 2016, the ABA total membership was 1,731 As of September 2018, our total ABA membership is 1,834. With 20,376 alumni we are at 9% 2018-19 GOAL: Increase membership by 3% (appx 600) Bolster Fundraising (FUNDRAISING) As of Sept 2016, our endowment spendable amount was $2,245 Currently, our spendable amount has increased to $3,017 • 2018-19 GOALS: Raise $100,000 towards ABA endowment fund to offer more scholarships Add an online store with ABA Gator Swag to our website Actively Engage our Black UF Community (ENGAGEMENT) In Oct 2016 Black Alumni Reunion was given a 9 out of 10 Net Promoter Score Rating Goals In 2017, Black Alumni Reunion was sold out and earned a Gator Clubbie Award in recognition of its success. In 2017 we launched ABA Jacksonville and a welcomed a new executive board for the Atlanta Chapter. 2018-2019 GOALS: Increase engagement through local chapter involvement and continue to support new chapter development. 6
