New opportunities Summary Extension of ports need to be finalized by 2019 at the same time the new vessels will be delivered The vessels are the most modern and technically advanced vessels that have been built to serve this area The vessels will alter transportation between Greenland and mainland Europe With these new connections, Greenland will increase its possibilities to sell products to new markets and retain resources in a new way Greenland will be connected to Aarhus, which is the second largest port in Scandinavia, instead of Aalborg The cooperation will promote business relations between Greenland, Faroe Islands and Iceland We are looking forward to commence this cooperation and taking part in the new opportunities ahead The cooperation agreement is being reviewed by the Icelandic Competition Authority at this moment
