Preparing for departure Departure Day Our Tour Director Meals & Lodging Packing List & Spending Money Safety & Support Our Itinerary

Departure Day

Tour Director Our dedicated Tour Director will be with us to handle logistics and help bring our destination to life. They’ll be there to support us every day of tour, even staying with us at our hotel overnight. All Tour Directors are trained to handle any emergencies that could arise on tour. They have 24-hour access to local EF offices, as well as EF’s worldwide and North American headquarters.

Meals Dinner will be at a sit down restaurant where there will either be a buffet or a menu provided that you can choose your meal from. If you haven’t already, please inform me of any food allergies or dietary restrictions as soon as possible.  Breakfast will be at our hotel each morning. Since lunch will be on-the-go, our Tour Director will provide suggestions for local places to eat. These will be quick stops so that we can maximize our time on tour and see as much as possible.

Our Hotel Marriott Wardman Park 2660 Woodley Road NW Washington D.C. 20008 A good night's sleep is important, so we can count on safe, clean, and comfortable hotels. EF will also provide us with a professional overnight security guard.

Packing Pack light: We’ll be responsible for loading our own luggage on and off the bus, and into hotels. Carry any valuables or medications in your EF backpack or carry-on. Remember to leave room for gifts and souvenirs.
