(B) “Kidney KO” mice: WT recipients of a kidney from AT1aR-KO donors, thus lacking AT1aR only in the kidney. (C) “System KO” mice: AT1aR/KO mice transplanted with a WT kidney, resulting in AT1aR function only in the kidney.
