Learning Objectives You will… Learn to carry out 4 workshops in order to learn 4 different techniques. Learn to work large-scale and be more loose and expressive. Learn not to be too precious about your work. What I’m looking for… You have an ability to observe and record accurately. You are able to draw confidently with a wide range of media. You are able to work on a large-scale. You gain the confidence to be expressive with your mark making.

5 minutes Watch a teacher demonstration for each of the different techniques around the room.

Do 1 of the activities in the next lesson and a half: 20 minutes Do 1 of the activities in the next lesson and a half: Tonal scribble with graphite, Felt-tip pen and wash, Bleach on Brusho, Chalk on brown paper.

PREP.WORK Record each of the drawing experiments that you have done using photography. Print out an A5 picture of each one to display across a double page spread in your book. Write a small evaluation and explanation about each one.
