Summer Wedding of Jamol & Tevon Date : August 15th 2018

Meet The Couple Jamol & Tevon Jamol and Tevon are from Louisiana. They met through a mutual friend 4 years ago. Both recently moved to Houston, Texas. Both share same love for music, food and movies. One loves to bake and the other loves to sing, just a perfect combination I would say! They want to get married in Houston, Texas where they believe to begin their life together..

And so the adventure begins…

Wedding Vision Jamol and Tevon both always wanted a summer wedding, so they have decided to get married on August 15th 2018. Tevon always wished to have a summer wedding with bright colors. They want the ceremony to be held in a beautiful garden, followed by reception indoors. They have chosen color yellow to be their color of celebration for love with splash of other colors like black/platinum, white but more of yellow for it to be as bright as their faith in each other .

Anticipation

Wedding Invitations will be printed on jacquard paper using thermography. Tevon wants a satin ribbon added at the top of the invitation card either white, platinum or black colored. Here are some samples for reference.

Attire

Bride & Groom’s Attire Bride will be wearing a beautiful strapless mermaid gown with cathedral style veil to accessorize with tiara, earrings, bracelets and open back slings. The groom will be wearing a formal suit with yellow waist coat and yellow tie to keep up with the scheme.

Bridesmaids and Groomsmen The bridesmaids will be dressed in yellow dresses and groomsmen will be in suits with yellow ties on them. Flower girls will be in cute cream colored dresses with yellow floral tiara for the wedding

Arrival

The couple will ride a horse-carriage The couple will ride a horse-carriage. Guests will be arriving on their own for the ceremony. When the guests arrive, they will see a welcome board at the entrance. Since the ceremony is in garden, there will be an entrance door put up and decorated with white yellow flowers.

Atmosphere

Ceremony arch will be decorated with white and yellow carnations & roses/cattleya orchids. The tables will be covered with white linens, yellow napkins, yellow/grey bow on the chairs with yellow, green and/or white floral center pieces.

Appetite

Catering will be a buffet, so there will different sections and varieties of food, keeping in mind special dietary needs such as vegan/gluten- free/allergies. The wedding cake will be placed on a decorated table with their initials displayed. Wedding cake will be 2 tier decorated with a touch white and yellow roses. We will also put up some sweet and/or fun quotes somewhere near the food.

Amusement

They say, music is a beautiful way of expressing your feelings and my adorable couple share their love for music. For the ceremony, they’ve chosen soloist/live music along with ‘here comes the bride’ to be played in the background. For reception, there will be a DJ. At the end of the ceremony, the couple would release beautiful doves. Couple will be send off with bubbles to wish them good luck by their families, relatives and friends as they embark on this beautiful journey together, forever.

Appreciation

All the guests will be given set of favors such some gift wrapped macaroons/candies, couple of souvenirs from bride and groom’s favorites and/or any other, appreciating their presence for the celebration of love.
