First-generation and students from low-income families Increase the number of students applying, enrolling, and succeeding in college First-generation and students from low-income families Occurs in the fall Takes place during the school day Our core practices: National initiative to increase the number of students applying, enrolling, and succeeding in college Focused on first-generation and students from low-income families Work with states and high schools to implement state-level strategies with school-level events School-day programs, held in the fall to support students through the college application process Intentionally link to other college-going processes (FAFSA, decision-making, etc.) Each participating high school typically hosts an event for only 1-2 days
