Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. ➀ Thank you, Lord, that you want everyone to be saved and to come to a personal knowledge of the truth!

➁ Father God, draw people to yourself! John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

➂ Lord, put the fear of God into people’s hearts! Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. John 16:8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: ➂ Lord, put the fear of God into people’s hearts!

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Mark 4:15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. ➃ Lord, overcome the evil one in blinding people from the truth and stealing the gospel seed from their hearts!

➅ Lord, soften the soil of people’s hearts to receive your good news! Mark 4:3-8 3 “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” ➅ Lord, soften the soil of people’s hearts to receive your good news!

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. ➆ Lord, let your light shine into people’s hearts and reveal your character to them!

Psalm 119:130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. Matthew 9:37-38 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” ➇ Lord, let your Word come alive to people and give me opportunities to share it!

Mark 4:20 Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown. ➉ Lord, I ask you for the nations!

Try tears! Psalm 126:5-6 5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
