Assessment Cycle Gather and Analyze information about Achievement of Outcomes Use Information Gathered to Improve Program/Unit Performance Identify and Articulate Outcomes

What makes your data useable? Data should be accurate Concise Clearly defined data variables and sources

Reporting the Data Reporting the data is the “accountability” and “action” part of the process Create meaning out of data Make the data work for you and your unit.

Reporting Questions Create meaning What is obvious in the date? Ambiguous? What recommendations/actions would you make based on the analysis of assessment data? - Take a position/make a decision.

Create Meaningful Action Use your data to tell your story, to make the point you intend
