7th Grade Math Curriculum Unit 1: Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing Positive and Negative Numbers (including fractions and decimals) Unit 2: Algebra – solving equations Unit 3: Ratios and Proportions using Graphs & Tables Unit 4: Drawing Geometric Figures and exploring angles and 3D figures Unit 5: Statistics and making predictions Unit 6: Probability and chance REAL-LIFE APPLICATIONS!!

Grades Formative Assessments (70%) Summative Assessments (30%) Classwork: 25 points Homework: 10 points Quizzes: 50 points Tests: 100 Points Performance Tasks: 100 points

Math Notebooks Each student has a Math Notebook that he/she must bring to class every day. This notebook will hold all your child’s notes. This notebook should help your child stay organized and have everything in one spot. Each student will have homework almost every night. This will consist of up to 5 questions that will be a review of what we did in class that day.

Missing Work Students are responsible for submitting any missing work by the end of the grading period. At the end of the grading period, any missing work will be recorded as a zero.

StudentVue Students may access StudentVue by logging in to the site with their school computer logins. Username: Student ID Number Password: happy (or whatever the student has reset the password to)

ParentVue Parents may access ParentVue anytime to check grades, report cards, and attendance. If you need access to ParentVue, please contact the front office at Campbell Middle School.
