BES: Data Analysis May 30, 2019 QUIZ over MOD 8 Today! Please open your journal to warm ups. Get out your blue Respiration Lab

This was on the board last class (as well as on the power point slides): Notice…

Warm Up 5-30-19 Write down your hypothesis for your brassica plant study. Was your hypothesis supported or not supported? Why?

Mod 8 Quiz Get a laptop and log into Educurious. Put up your privacy shield. If I hear talking you get a Zero. Go to Mod 8 Quiz and take it. Put your laptop away. Obtain your model worksheet and complete. You may use your journal to assist you. Use a different color than your pre- assessment. Turn in when finished.

Display your Group Data on a Poster Purpose: To ensure you have enough data and information to create a relevant action plan and complete CER (with graphs). Write your hypothesis at the top of your poster. Make your data table complete with experimental data on the left side Make a sketch of your graph on the right side, displaying your data. Make sure you have a key for your data. Make sure it is NEAT and LEGIBLE as other students may need to use your data. Add qualitative data below if possible. You will be presenting your findings to the class on Thursday.

Data Analysis & Presentation Complete the Data Analysis Template based on your own team’s data. Get out your template for a stamp if completed. Present your findings to your class. Take pictures of data that can assist with your hypothesis.

Final CER & Action Plan Project CER is due on June 7th Action Plan Presentations will start on June 11th and continue on June17/19th These are ASSESSMENT grades. READ the rubrics to ensure maximum points!

4th Period Homework Due to the poor report from Mr. Stowell, as well as two other teachers on this floor in regards to your behavior on Tuesday you will have an extra homework assignment. I’ve very disappointed in the actions of those students who were off task and being disrespectful to both other classes on this floor, the guest teacher and following my directions. Directions: I would like a summary of what your expectations are as a student in my class, especially when there is a guest teacher. Minimum of 2 paragraphs. Graded on details with evidence and GUMS (grammar, usage, mechanics, spelling). This will be a 20 point assignment and will be due at the beginning of class on Monday, June 3rd.
