Pain is nothing compared to what it feels like to give up.” This year some of our most motivated JROTC cadets have joined together at the First Church of God, in Chavies, to volunteer their time to the CAMRUN charity event. 11/14/2019

As instructed by Major Cory, the cadets stretch before their 5K run. In order for cadets to get their belt buckle they have to complete the 5K in full ACUs and ruck sack in under 50 minutes. 11/14/2019

Cadet Staff Sergeant Derrick Colwell being the first cadet in civilian clothes to cross the START and cadet Corporal Alex Lewis being the first cadet/raider to cross the START, both lead their following cadets with determination. 11/14/2019

In full ACUs and ruck sack, 1st place, Cadet Second Lieutenant Javine Crowley finishing in a time of 39 min and 8 sec, 2nd place, Cadet Cergeant Alex Lewis in the time of 39 min and 10 sec3rd place, Cadet Private Dakota Halcomb with a time of 39 min and 11 sec. In the end, 13 cadets made the run before 50 minutes, pushing them one step closer to getting their belt buckle. 11/14/2019
