NIH public access policy changes Requires PIs to submit journal manuscripts that arise from NIH funds to PubMed Central upon acceptance for publication. Must be in PubMed no later than 12 months after publication. Upcoming Process Change: With this Notice, NIH informs grantees that in Spring, 2013, at the earliest, NIH will delay processing of non- competing continuation grant awards if publications arising from that award are not in compliance with the NIH public access policy.

NSF Research.gov Pilot New reporting module will be for the submission of annual, final, and interim project reports for all current NSF awards Research.gov will replace Fastlane for project reporting only For proposals, file updates, post-award actions, we will continue using Fastlane in the mean time NSF will adjust report due dates so PIs are in compliance with the award terms/conditions. (Adjusted due dates will be posted Dec 3.) Until Dec 2, no new reports are to be submitted to NSF. On Dec 3, reports must be prepared/submitted in Research.gov
