Presentation transcript:

Uses and Expectations of Devices in the Classroom Device will not be out or turned on until asked to do so. Device will be shut off and put away when asked to do so. Eyes and hands will be off the device while the teacher is speaking or directing your attention away from the device. Device will be connected to Saks High School WI-Fi network. It will not be connected using a student’s personal data plan. The teacher may check network connection in class at any time.

If any device is used in an inappropriate manner, used to access inappropriate information, or is not being used in the direction the teacher has given that device may be confiscated, turned in to an administrator and/or the student may lose their privilege to bring a device to class. Students are responsible for their own device. It would be a good idea to label your device. Bring your device to school charged. Charging is permitted in class but should not be relied upon.
