Future Administrators Program Details Exploring Leadership Future Administrators Audience Non-administrators (teachers, TOSA’s, counselors, etc.) who may or may not be interested in future administration Currently in a leadership position (Department Head, Grade-level Lead, ILT member, etc.) Non-administrators (teachers, TOSA’s, counselors, etc.) who want to move into administration Currently in a leadership position (TOSA, Department Head, Grade-level Lead, ILT member, etc.) Must possess Certificate of Eligibility or Preliminary Administrative Services Credential Program Six half-days of attendance and participation at workshops (1:00 - 5:00 pm) Coaching site visits by Leadership Development staff Foundational reading Six full-days of attendance and participation at workshops (8:00am - 3:30pm) 5 days of shadowing an AP Mentor Foundational Reading Grounded in the LBUSD Leadership Domains and Dimensions
Documentation & Selection Exploring Leadership Application (Google Form) on LBUSD Website -- “L” Leadership Development/ Exploring Leadership Resume and Letter of Intent hand-delivered to the Leadership Development Office by Friday, September 20th (4:00pm) Recommendations - Site administrator(s) will be contacted by the Leadership Development Office Program Acceptance Notification: October 11th
Documentation & Selection Future Administrators Application (Google Form) on LBUSD Website -- “L” Leadership Development/ Future Administrators Resume, Letter of Intent, and Recent Evaluation hand-delivered to the Leadership Development Office by Friday, September 20th (4:00pm) Recommendations - Site Administrator(s) will be contacted by the Leadership Development Office Writing Assessment: Sept 25th (Times TBD) Program Interview: September 30th or Oct 1st Program Acceptance Notification: October 8th
