How do we define change? Task 1. Look at the different types of change on your sheet. For each type, create a graph that shows the type of change and explain what this type of change means. Task 2. For each key term, work out the definition. Use the terms below to fill the gaps: Factors Catalyst Progress Change Rate of Change Trend Turning Point Regress Task 3. Write a 20 word summary that explains how medicine was changing during: The Medieval Era The Renaissance

Change key terms and definitions What does ‘change’ mean and how does ‘change’ take place? Type of change Patterns Explanation Continuity Turning Point Gradual Change Accelerating Change Fluctuating Change Change key terms and definitions This is when things become different to how they were before. This is when things get better or improve. This is when things get worse or decline. This is how quickly or slowly change happens. This is when a number of similar changes happen over a period of time. This is when a big/significant change happens that dramatically affects the direction of change. These are the things that allow change to happen such as governments, individuals, chance etc. A factor or event that increases the rate of change dramatically (these will often spark big change!)
