Temple University Community Service Association General Body Meeting September 20th , 2017

Purpose of TUCSA “The purpose of this organization shall be to provide students with many opportunities to be a part of their community by engaging them in service projects that meet the needs and environmental concerns of the larger community…. our association aims to build empathy, compassion, independence, and determination within our members. we hope our members realize that just their individual actions can make a positive difference in the lives of others.”

What we do Volunteer work mainly in the North Philadelphia area Work with local shelters, churches, and community centers Collaborate with other student groups & off campus organizations Work with all age groups

Membership Dues & Our Point System $5 for Returning Members $10 for New Members Paid after meetings at our vendor table or Doug via venmo. TODAY IS THE DEADLINE! 1 point for meeting attendance 3 points for event attendance Top 3 volunteers each semester!

Hurricane Harvey & Hurricane Irma Bake Sale Update TUCSA and NCNW jointly raised $103.14 We will be matching the funds raised to donate $206.30 to victims impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. Thanks for all the hard work!
