SCHOOL HOURS ELEMENTARY:​ Pre-K/K: ​ 8 AM-2 PM​ 8 AM-1:45 PM Wednesdays Grades 1-3: ​ 8:15 AM-3 PM​ 8:15 AM-2 PM Wednesdays​ Grades 4-5: 8:30 AM-3:20 PM​ 8:30 AM-2:20 PM Wednesdays

SILENT DISMISSAL Parents will pick up students from the classroom for the 1st day of school August 19th Silent dismissal will begin the 2nd day of school August 20th.

CLASS ROUTINE Come in to the classroom and unpack. Turn in homework to designated area Copy homework in agenda Complete morning work Get ready for the day

CLASS ECONOMY Students will rent or purchase their desk and will be allowed to purchase classroom coupons at the end of every month. Each student will have a classroom job for the whole year. Students will be paid for their job, along with receive bonus for good and outstanding behavior.

Attendance It is important for students to be in school on time EVERY DAY! If not, it is considered a tardy. If students are absent they must bring in a note within 2 days so that their absence is EXCUSED. If not, it will be UNEXCUSED. 3 unexcused absences will result in a referral! 10 tardies will result in a referral!

NO LATE HOMEWORK WILL BE ACCEPTED. HOME LEARNING Daily homework should be expected 5 days a week. All homework assignments will be written in student agenda by the student. Please check their agenda on a daily basis to see if all of the homework has been completed. Students must complete 45 minutes of I-ready in Math and Reading. Students must logon to Reflex Math at least 3 times a week. NO LATE HOMEWORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.

NO LATE PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED Projects will be completed throughout the year in class and at home. Projects are to be turned in on due date. NO late project will be accepted. If a student is absent the day a project is due, a picture of the project must be sent through class messenger before noon or the project may be dropped off. All projects must reflect the work of the student and not that of the parent. NO LATE PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED

LEADER IN ME Students will be tracking their own data in their Leader In Me Binder. Binders will be sent home periodically so you can see their progress. Students will be tracking: I-ready Math tests Cold reads AR quizzes

VOLUNTEER HOURS Each family is responsible for completing 30 volunteer hours. 15 additional hours must be completed for siblings. Half of the volunteer hours should be completed by the end of the second grading period. There will be many volunteer hour opportunities posted on class messenger.

UNIFORM POLICY

BIRTHDAY POLICY Will be celebrated last Friday of EVERY OTHER month for all students having birthdays during those two months Only ONE snack (mini cupcakes, doughnuts, or cookies) and juice/ small water bottle (no goodie bags, decorations or any other snack, please) Homeroom parent(s) will be contacting you with more information. Anyone entering the building MUST have a Level 1 clearance

CLEARANCE MUST BE RENEWED EVERY SCHOOL YEAR! Signing up as a volunteer must be done by August 31st (including acknowledgement form) CLEARANCE MUST BE RENEWED EVERY SCHOOL YEAR!
