Basic needs Student services VC Food Pantry- One of the resources we have is the Ventura College Food Pantry. Students and family members can utilize the VC Food Pantry once a week to obtain free groceries. Our pantry is located in the cafeteria. For pantry hours, please visit: https://www.venturacollege.edu/departments/student-services/basic-needs/calfresh CalFresh- We also assist students in applying for CalFresh benefits. CalFresh was formerly known as Food Stamps and federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). CalFresh can add to your food budget by helping you put healthy and nutritious food on the table. Housing- If you are a student at Ventura College and in need of housing or a suitable place to live; we may be able to assist you. Please fill out the Housing Referral Request form and submit it in person, by email, or by fax. Bus Transportation- Ventura College students are able to ride the bus by presenting their Ventura College Student ID card. Simply present your card and ride free anywhere VCTC rides. If you are experiencing a financial hardship and cannot afford a college ID, please visit our Basic Needs Office. Homelessness- If you are facing homelessness stop by the office to see the resources we have to offer.
