I am not Ashamed of the Gospel Romans 1:16-17

Romans is the Explanation of the Gospel It is God’s Revelation of Himself and His Sovereign Plan from the Beginning to Redeem His Creation Through the Sacrificial Work of Jesus Christ

Romans 1:16-17 (16) I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. (17) For in the Gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

I am not Ashamed of the Good News That God has come to Deliver Us from Our Captors because He Loves Us and He Knows We are not able to Deliver Ourselves

I am not Ashamed of the Good News That God has told Us Exactly What We Must Do to Participate in the Deliverance that He is Providing

I am not Ashamed of the Good News That God has told Us to do Something that may make Us look Foolish to our Captor (because it doesn’t matter what our Captor thinks; We are being set free from our Captor!)

I am not Ashamed of the Good News but instead that we do Our That God Does not Determine Our Deliverance by how Well we do our Tasks of Faith but instead that we do Our Tasks by Faith
