Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”

Proverbs 29:22 An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.

“Of the Seven Deadly Sins, anger is possibly the most fun “Of the Seven Deadly Sins, anger is possibly the most fun. To lick your wounds, to smack your lips over grievances long past, to roll over your tongue the prospect of bitter confrontations still to come, to savor to the last toothsome morsel both the pain you are given and the pain you are giving back—in many ways it is a feast fit for a king. The chief drawback is that what you are wolfing down is yourself. The skeleton at the feast is you.”

Matthew 5:21-22 (NEB) “You have learned that our forefathers were told, "Do not commit murder; anyone who commits murder must be brought to judgement." But what I tell you is this: Anyone who nurses anger against his brother or sister must be brought to judgement.” Orgizmenos = continuously angry

3. The Cup

Proverbs 16:32 Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city.
